Don't Forget the Programs!

For a long time, brides have used programs to help guests follow along with the order of service for their ceremony. Nowadays, programs have become a trendy stationery accessory not to be overlooked. It not only lists the order of service, but it also recognizes the bridal party and any special guests, notes dedications to loved ones that have passed away, and acknowledges any vendors that helped make the wedding day a success. The style of programs have come a long way from the standard 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper folded in half. Luscious colors of card stock are now used in the form of long layered panels, booklets, or even fans to make programs a fun keepsake that will remind guests of that special day.

Weddings are not the only event that can benefit from programs. Well coordinated baby showers as well as anniversary parties, christening ceremonies and Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations are perfect occasions to incorporate the look and style of your invitation into a stationery piece used the day of the event.

La Dolce Vita - The Sweet Life!

Oh what a wonderful time I had celebrating with Cecillia Nichols as she entered into her 30s! She was such a joy to work with. When Cecillia came to me, she had an idea of her big 3-0 soiree; the phrase "La Dolce Vita" which means "The Sweet Life" in Italian. Her favorite color, red, was a spicy accent to the black and white color scheme. This interior designer wanted an intimate dinner party for thirty of her closest family, friends and collegues. We incorporated the theme into her invitations and menu cards, as well as two banners that she used around the party room. With the use of black linen, metallic red and metallic white paper, the stationery had a simple elegance that nicely coincided with the entire look and feel of the party.
